Making the world safe for filmgoers since 2002.
Andrew Garfield’s performance in Andy Serkis’ directorial debut, BREATHE, is phenomenal. He’s both deeply affecting and infectiously joyous in the true story of Robin Cavendish, who was paralyzed from the neck down when he contracted polio in the prime of life, but chose to live his life to the fullest thanks to a wife who refused to give up on him. While being celebrated by the Mill Valley Film
Festival, Garfield attended a reception for him thrown by the film’s distributor, Bleecker Street, and while there met not just some of San Francisco’s reviewing press, but also their offspring. A fabulous time was had by all.
